Conferences. Launches. Remixers. I've produced and curated events spanning nationwide. An event can have a major impact on a company's community and massively amplifies awareness. Check out the events I've planned below.
JetBlue Mint Launch
JetBlue launched their Mint product at The Grove in Los Angeles on June 12th, 2014 for a weekend pop-up shop. Customers could come in and try out the seats that would be in the Mint class part of the airplane and enter for a chance to win a round trip ticket by taking a selfie in the seats. Customers were also able to enjoy JetBlue's signature Mint cocktail that will be on the plane when they arrive and samples of their tapas menu on the plane.
FiftyThree Community Remixers
During my time at FiftyThree, I started their first event series called Community Remixers. At each event, a Paper artist held an informal workshop where community members were able to follow along. Members were able to meet others in the community, learn new Paper tricks and bond over taquitos (or some other delicious snack!).
For the first event, designer Janelle Sing showed guests how to create stylish maps of their own. Community members joined from near and far (the furthest driving 8 hours!). Remixers became so successful, we went on to having them in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Texas, Portland and more. After each event, we saw a 10% increase in brand engagement which included an uptick in social media followers, app engagement and word-of-mouth.
JetBlue Big 6 Mint Dinner
JetBlue held a leadership dinner on the tarmac of their Orlando hangar to showcase the new Mint airplane. The tent was completely see-through with the plane parked outside as a backdrop where attendees could walk up and view the new Mint plane.
JetBlue Community Connections Dinner
JetBlue held a dinner out in Salt Lake City at the Rice-Eccles Stadium to celebrate their crew members who completed over 100 hours of community service.
Port of Spain Launch
JetBlue celebrates the launch of their new city, Port of Spain.
JetBlue celebrates the launch of their new city, Savannah.
JetBlue Sun n' Fun
JetBlue flew 5 aviation high schools to Sun n' Fun, the second largest aviation event in the country.
During my summer as a Production Assistant at Sonos Studio in LA I worked various events including The Lighthouse installation.
